I was at my hairdresser a couple of weeks ago for my usual appointment.    While I was waiting, a woman walked in with the worst hair that I had ever seen.  It was three or four different colors and was extremely frizzy.  She sat down and began flipping through a magazine. I assumed that she was looking for hairstyles for ugly hair. I couldn’t take my eyes off of her hideous hairdo.  I wondered if she had ever thought about shaving it off. I began to feel sorry for her. I wondered if she just didn’t have money to have her hair done.

I was finally called to see my hairdresser.  I told her exactly what I wanted and she went to get the supplies that she needed.  As I was waiting, the woman with the bad hair was called and ended up sitting in the chair beside me. As she began talking to her hairdresser, I couldn’t help but over hear the conversation.  She just wanted a trim. She needs much more than that.  Her hairdresser needs to give her a copy of the magazine that contains hairstyles for ugly hair.  She needs to shave it off! Her hairdresser had trimmed her hair and she was done before I was even halfway done.  The woman was happy with her look and out of the door.  As she walked out the door, she was smiling.  I guess sometimes having bad hair isn’t so bad.  She has the rest of the day to enjoy herself, while I am stuck in this chair.

When my friend and I were younger, we read a lot about Wicca and Druidry. We were always interested in learning about different religions.  Wicca and Druidry are religions that were originated in Britain. The two religions are different, but do have some similarities, this includes some of the symbols that they are used.  Druid and Wicca symbols are often actually Celtic symbols. These symbols are often used for tattoos. Many times the people that get these tattoos are Christian’s. They don’t actually know the meaning of the symbol, but get it because it looks cool.

 

Druid and Wicca Symbols are very pretty and all have different meanings. One of most common symbols is various versions of Celtic Knot work. These are the only types of symbols where there symbols are unclear. They are beautiful though and these are often the types of tattoos seen on Christians. The only symbol you won’t see Christians adorning is the Pentagram or Pentacle. These are often associated with Witchcraft and Paganism and are the main symbol used by Wiccans.  So whether you are Wiccan, Druid or Christian, you cannot deny the fact that the Druid and Wiccan symbols are beautiful and can be worn by anyone.

Please do not tell me you are considering bleaching you baby’s hair! Babies don’t even have that much hair let alone enough to bleach! Bleaching a baby’s hair is unjustified and there is absolutely no positive or beneficial purpose for doing so. My friend took her baby to a special salon aimed at babies for its first baby haircut the other day, and whilst she was there she saw some crazy mothers trying to do all sorts of sick and messed up things to their baby’s hair. One woman in the salon was arguing with the hairdresser because she was adamant she was going to get her baby’s hair bleached and she seemed as if she would do anything to get her own way. The hairdresser was trying to explain to her in the most reasonable and calmest way possible that it was not a very good idea, but she wasn’t having any of it.

This insane woman wanted her first baby haircut to be a bleach and a baby perm, the poor kid had beautiful dark and naturally wavy hair and this mental mother was on a mission to destroy it. It was clear that this mom wanted the little tyke to have the same awful haircut and style she had because the bleach blond and perm look was the one she was sporting! The hairdresser tried to convey how dangerous it was to use bleach on a baby and that babies had extremely delicate and sensitive skin and this needed to be respected by the choice of products used on them. This woman needed help! I am glad she isn’t my mother!

Unfortunately, hair loss does not discriminate. It can happen to both men and women. Hair loss in men is more accepted and people are not shocked when they see a man who has thinning hair or has lost their hair completely. However, with women, it seems to be more difficult. People may gawk at a woman who has thinning hair. The women that suffer from this can often become depressed and tend to withdraw from society.  However, there are ways to solve this. There are many doctors who specialize in the treatment of loss of hair in women and even perform the laser transplant.

 

The laser transplant is one of the more invasive and painful procedures in the treatment for loss of hair in women. Before you decide to have a hair transplant, you should explore other options. There are topical treatments, hormone replacement therapies, and medications that come in a pill form. None of these are 100 percent guaranteed and may not work for everyone.  Do your research and keep notes. When you visit your doctor, you should speak with them and they can help you decide which path you should take in order to help with your hair loss.

I will admit, I am a perfume addict.  I must have at least twenty bottles on my bedroom dresser.  Not to mention, the bottles underneath my bathroom counter which leave me little room for anything else.  I have spent thousands of dollars on these.  There are some perfumes that I may have only used one time and many are still in their original boxes. At times, I regret having so many, but they do make for great gifts. I have often been asked if I have ever considered buying cheap discount perfumes. When my husband found out that there were cheaper ways to buy perfume, he asked me “Will you buy them instead of the expensive stuff from the department store?”

 

My answer is simple, no I will not buy cheap discount perfume.  I feel that if I buy the cheaper perfume, it may not be authentic. The quality may not meet my standards and I would be highly disappointed. I would rather spend my money on items that I know I like and are made with high quality ingredients. If I purchase perfume from a department store, I know that they are coming from the perfume designer and are guaranteed.  So next time I am asked, “Will you buy them instead of the expensive brands?” I will firmly say no.

Let’s say you want to donate your hair for cancer patients but your hair is bleached.  Is this a good idea?  Or should you wait until the bleach grows out.  I guess it all depends.  If you have long, long, long hair and are tired of trying to care for it and maintain the roots constantly, by all means get it cut.  You could always ask at the hair cutter place if it’s worth donating bleached hair for cancer patients.  The hair is usually woven into a wig of sorts anyway.  This way, a cancer patient could appear to have bleached blonde hair.  Who would know it’s a wig?  Especially with so many people running around with bleached hair these days.  Including some who, a couple decades ago, would never have dreamed of bleaching their hair.

The best way to figure out if donating hair for cancer patients is worth it with bleached hair is to ask yourself if you would want a bleached hair wig if you were a cancer patient who had lost your hair due to chemotherapy and all those other cancer treatments guaranteed to leave you bald.  Or with patchy bits of hair.  If the answer is “yes, I’d rather have a bleached hair wig than no hair at all” by all means – donate.  If the answer is “no – that’s why i’m getting rid of this long mop of bleached unmanageable hair!” then don’t bother.  Just get your hair cut.  And when it grows back in with your natural color, then you can get it cut and donate your hair for cancer patients.  Of course, by then, your hair will be so nice you just might want to keep it.

What if the list of Top 10 curvy women includes the queen of England?

 

That would be a bit ridiculous if the current list of top 10 curvy women includes the queen of England.  The queen of England is 85 years old!  The last time I saw a curvy 85 year old woman was…..never?  At one point she might have been curvy, especially when she was young, but we’ll never really know, will we?  Has anyone seen a picture, past or present, of the Queen of England in a bikini?

 

Most lists of top 10 curvy women include women like Beyonce and Tyra Banks and Christina Hendricks.  I think if the list included the queen of England no one would take it seriously.  Seriously.  No one.  Not even the queen. She might give you a role seal of approval but you will not be getting a knighthood for your stupidity. That said, a lot of senior citizens will like to think they’ve still got what it take to be considered sexy.

Top 10 curvy women of the world are always chosen from a selected few that are perceived to be beautiful and worth lusting after. The lists are often worthless and only fools pay attention to such drivels.
