Apple Bottom is a company that was started in 2003 by the singer Nelly.  The Apple Bottom brand is for people with a sense of style.  They offer a variety of clothing, accessories and also Apple Bottom Shoes for women.  The styles are urban and hip. The target audience is for the younger generation.  However, there style provides a wide variety of fashion for all ages.  If you have ever seen a women wearing a pair of pants with words written across the  backside, they are either Apple Bottom’s or an imposter.

 

I have walked into a store and I have seen very young girls wearing Apple Bottom pants with the words written across their backside.  I think that sometimes, there are some things that young girls should not wear and those pants are one of them.  However, Apple Bottom does offer more age appropriate items. I do like the Apple Bottom shoes for women though.  They definitely are for people with a sense of style.  They offer flats, heels and even funky tennis shoes.  So, for me, writing across the backside is out, but their shoes are awesome!

The cold weather is coming so I am pretty excited to wear the big and baggy sweaters and sweatshirts.  This is the time of year to be able to dress comfortably.  Daytime is a pair of jeans, sweater and some cute high heeled boots or a nice skirt, tights and a sweater.  However, once I get home, I get comfortable. It’s time for my sweatpants with the elastic waist.  They are not just for fat women anymore!  They are so very comfortable and especially great for relaxing at home.

 

While elastic waisted sweatpants are extremely comfortable, I would never wear them out in public.  If it is a day off for me and I need to run somewhere, I may not get dressed up,  but sweatpants are not a wardrobe choice for me.  Out in public, the only people I see wearing these are fat women or older women.  While there is nothing wrong with this, it is just not my personal fashion choice while out in public.  However, once I get home and plan on staying in, I change back into my comfortable sweatpants. Sweatpants are a great way to stay comfortable and help keep you warm on those cold winter nights.

Fall is almost over so it is time to think about bringing out your winter clothes.  This is a good time for you to go through last year’s winter clothes and decide what you are going to wear again this year and what you are going to give away. If you have children, especially teenagers, you will want to help them do this as well.  As styles change yearly, especially for teenagers, you will want to help them keep up with fashion.  You will want to help them find some cute winter outfits.  If you don’t help, they may end up wearing Lady Gaga’s latest fashion trend.  Most parents don’t want this. While most parents want their teenager to be able to express themselves, they also don’t want them to go too far.

 

All of the department stores will have an abundance of cute winter outfits for teenagers this time of year.  The best way to approach taking your teenager shopping is to have a plan. Teenagers are often very difficult to shop with.  So you will want to make sure that you go shopping at a time that they are not having one of their moody teenager days. Take them on a good day and bribe them with lunch or dinner.  As you are shopping, let them decide what they want to try on.  Let them try everything on but make them let you see what the outfit looks like.  This gives them the impression that they are in control, but actually, you are in charge because you are paying.  If they try some Lady Gaga fashion’s on, just shrug and move on.  Remember you are in control and this phase will soon be over.

I have rather short legs, which is quite embarrassing for me.  I have always wanted long and slender legs.  I wanted Rod Stewart to sing “Hot Legs” just for me.  That is never going to happen because I have tree stump, short legs.  Over the years I have learned to deal with it and have tried numerous ways to make my legs look longer. I even thought about getting them stretched out by a doctor, but I learned this is not really something that reputable doctors will perform.

So, instead I have been trying to find the best boots for short legs.

 

While on the hunt for my perfect boots, I have tried many different types.  I have tried tall, flat boots of all colors. These are a definite no-no for a short legged woman. These only make you look shorter and your legs fatter.   I have tried boots with a chunky heel.  These are not very eye appealing either.  The chunky makes your legs look chunky and still short. Then I tried some beautiful black, high heeled boots.  I was amazed at how great my legs look.  These boots gave my legs the appearance that they were long and lean.  These boots are a classic style and can be worn for many years to come.  I am no longer embarrassed by my short legs, I found the perfect pair of boots.
